Our treatment plant is incredibly efficient and capable of processing several types of waste for those in the Walterboro area.
At Degler Waste Services, many of our clients in the Walterboro, South Carolina area prefer to dispose of grease trap waste, septic waste, and toilet waste independently. For this reason, we run a full-service treatment plant that can collect and dispose of any waste you might need to get rid of.
Our treatment plant is available to accept grease trap waste, septage, and portable toilet waste. Prior approval is required before dumping at this site, and disposal charges must be paid at the time of disposal. Grease trap waste charges are $100 per 1,000 gallons, septage is $75 per 1,000 gallons, and portable toilet waste is $50 per 1,000 gallons.
Our onsite wastewater treatment plant is incredibly efficient and capable of processing waste in under an hour. When waste is delivered to our treatment plant from homes and businesses, it is neutralized with lime in holding tanks and processed using polymer.
While processing, the waste is separated from the water and moved out of the waste containers, which you can see in the video below. The solids are still held in the wastewater containers after this process takes place, and it only takes about two minutes for the waste in the holding tank to be transported to the wastewater container. This occurs as the polymer is injected into the waste as the separation process gets underway. We have been maintaining this operation since 2007 and look forward to many more years running our treatment plant.
