Ensuring there are portable toilets also helps the job continue uninterrupted, since workers won’t be leaving the job site in search of restrooms throughout the day.
- Disaster zones. Although these sometimes can’t be planned for, having portable toilets on hand after a natural or man-made disaster can save lives by protecting local water sources from being contaminated by untreated waste and ensuring that, hazardous as the disaster zone already is, people are not being forced to create even more hazards along the way.
There are many reasons that regular indoor toilets may not be available for people, whether it’s due to a disaster or because they have been gathered together in an outdoor space for work or pleasure. Whatever the reason, portable toilets are there to fill in the gaps until those people can go home.
